🚨 HEAT SAFETY ALERT 🚨

As temperatures continue to rise across Washington, it's critical to stay focused on heat safety both on and off the jobsite.
Washington's outdoor heat exposure rules require employers to provide protections that increase as temperatures climb, including access to cool drinking water, shade, paid cool-down rest periods, and active monitoring for signs of heat illness.

☀️ Stay hydrated
🧊 Take scheduled cool-down breaks
🌳 Use shade and cooling areas when available
👀 Watch for signs of heat stress in yourself and your crew
📣 Speak up if conditions become unsafe

Heat illness can develop quickly, but it is preventable when everyone works together and follows established safety procedures.
Review the heat safety requirements below and help keep your team safe this summer.
