Check out this huge America250 mural the Franklin County community created.

It is located on the east side of the downtown square on the flower shop outside wall facing Highway 67.

This was sponsored by Franklin County Arts Alliance and the Choctaw Trace Daughter of American Revolution.

The Gallery on Main is part of The Franklin County Arts Alliance, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote art and cultural events in the community.

🐾🍂 Come see us at Country Fest! 🍂🐾

The Mount Vernon Animal Shelter and PAWS Board will be set up just inside the square with a few of our sweet shelter pups! Stop by, say hello, and give these babies a little love.

A BIG shout-out to the Mount Vernon Key Club for 51 years of community fun! Thank you for the time, hard work, and heart you put into bringing our community together and keeping this wonderful tradition going. 👏

While you’re enjoying the festivities, go by Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and see our Mount Vernon Royalty and cast your vote in the Cutest Dog Contest! 👑🐶 A few of our shelter pups have been sponsored and entered, and we would love for you to cheer them on!
