Need: Dialysis Patient Bags and Blankets

If any one would like to donate large reusable shopping bags like TJ Maxx and Marshalls use or new blankets/throws or donate $$ to help purchase these items … it would be much appreciated! Many patients that would greatly benefit from this and appreciate it.

Tucker's mom works as a Nephrology Social Worker... so he has learned about Chronic Kidney Disease and dialysis.

Did you know 1 in 7 people in the US have chronic kidney disease?

Did you know that over 800,000 people in the US are on dialysis?

Did you know that Hemodialysis patients require treatment three times a week, with each session lasting about 4-5 hours?

Did you know that you can reach out to dialysis units and speak to the social worker about donating items like crossword puzzles, cross stitch crafts, magazines, headphones, blankets, etc?

To spread some kindness and continue Tucker's mission, these gift baskets were donated to Fresenius Kidney Care in Mount Pleasant, Texas to be raffled off to two patients. Gift baskets include items to brighten their day and pass the time during their treatment.

Another family needed a little extra love and grace to finish getting the necessities for the first day of school…thank you to TW Teri Walsh for identifying a need and connecting us to this sweet family!
