Mt. Vernon MUMS ( Moms Uplifting Moms) Mothers have many hats to wear, and run busy lives. Whether you are a working mom, a stay -at – home mom, or a single mom.

While we are taking care of everything our families need, sometimes we need time to relax and connect to other moms. MUMS is for you. MUMS stands for moms uplifting moms. We meet once a month, every 3rd Monday evening (with some exceptions) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, at Covenant Baptist Church 1650 Industrial Rd. in Mt. Vernon, MO. There is no fee to attend MUMS! Just come and prepare for laughter and

fun in a laid back, welcoming, non – cliquey atmosphere. Childcare is available if needed, but you must contact us ahead of time if you need this.

We will be meeting on Friday February 23rd at 6:30 p.m. for our annual date night! The gathering will be at14587 HWY 39. We will have food, pool table, foosball, cards, and other games! Please bring appetizers that will serve as our dinner. We hope you and your date can make it for a fun evening out!

This evening we will have volunteer night! Please join us to help support the Mount Vernon Community diaper pantry! Please meet us at the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of Cherry and Market Street at 6:30! We will all enter the Market Street door into the basement where the diaper pantry is located. We hope to see you there!

MUMs will meet next month on Thursday November 16th for a volunteer night! We will be volunteering at the Mt Vernon Community Diaper Pantry at the First Presbyterian Church in MV from 6:30-8:30. We will wrap diapers, pick up diapers from the store, clean the diaper pantry, and take care of anything else that the pantry needs. Please bring a snack and join us to help those in need in our community!

Sept 21st painting night info!!
April put together three options at different prices for everyone to choose from. She just needs to know how many and who wants to do which craft. We can each pick different ones!
We'll start at 6 so we have plenty of time but if you need to come later that would be fine.
Prices are 15, 20, and 22 (left to right). MUMs will cover $5 of one project for each person.
Let us know by posting below if you will be there and which project you want to do!
RSVP is needed by this Sunday Sept 17th.
If you are wanting the monogrammed item you will need to pick stained wood (as pictured) or raw as well as provide your last name and year you were married.
We'll meet at April's house at 6 pm to paint on the 21st.
