Deb Ramsey won three awards at the United Quilt Guild show going on this weekend in Salem Ohio.

Her quilt “Colonial Garden” took top honors as Best Of Show and also First Place in the Patriotic Theme category.

She also won a Third Place ribbon in the Appliqué Bed Quilt for her entry, “Mountain Wildflowers”.

Glenn Fischer received three awards at the United Quilt Guild show taking place in Salem Ohio this weekend.

Glenn entered “Ellie” who was awarded “Best Use of Color” and First place in the category of Wall Hanging.

Glenn also entered his muscle car, “Damn Proud” and won first place in the Bed Quilt category.

It is always such a heartwarming event, when a Quilt of Valor is gifted to a service man or woman. We all are so proud of, and grateful for, their service and so pleased to be a part of the generous and talented Knox County Quilt Guild.

Lowell Henthorn enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1965 and served two years in Vietnam. He received a Quilt of Valor recognizing his service.

Deb Ramsey was the winner of an award ribbon in the “Large Quilt” category with her entry “Colonial Garden". Started in 2022 to use fabric in her stash, this Lori Smith pattern mixes fun shapes in a folk art design.

Garee Earnest was the winner of an award ribbon in the “Large Quilt” category with his entry “Steelworks II". A Deloris Smith pattern using Marcus fabrics. Originally 88X88, Garee expanded it to 109X109.
