Hi Everyone. Our Tulip Pedal is just a couple of days away. The weather is a little rainy at this time but the weather person states that we should have a partly sunny day. I was just out marking your course today and there are a few tulip fields still in in bloom and these will be topped Sunday or Monday, so we are getting our Tulip Pedal just in time. The tulips at Tulip Town and Roozengarde will be available on Saturday, so we will get to see them. Go to the link attached to see the current bloom report.

This is this year's 20-mile route. As with the 60-mile, this route is a little longer than advertised. We're keeping all cyclists off of two major sections of road from past events to increase safety.

Hello Friends. This year's edition of the Tulip Pedal will take place Saturday, April 16, 2016. Our registration form can be found at the link below and will go live at midnight, February 6.

Dear Tulip Pedal Friends,
It is with deep sadness that I inform you that one of our Safe Kids supporters and participants of the Tulip Pedal, Tammi Wilson, died this morning as a result of the injuries she sustained in a bike crash on Wednesday, May 20.
Tammi lived in Sedro-Woolley and was cycling on Bow Hill Road in Skagit County and was struck by a motorist who was making an illegal left-hand turn onto the southbound I-5 onramp. Tammi sustained massive injuries and was airlifted to Harborview. She was not able to recover.
I do hope you had the chance to meet her. She was a devoted mom, member of the community, fitness instructor, friend and all-around great lady.
