Maya gave a speech about the mentor-protege relationship and what her experiences have been as a protege to April. She gave specific examples of her interaction with mentor April and also described in detail the definition of a coach vs a mentor and what the meaning of a virtual mentor was. It certainly was a good learning experience. ☺️💖🙂

Great combined meeting with the Marion Club. Learned a new word today, metamorphosis. Angie joined us today, welcome Angie and Tristen as well. There were two speeches, one by Mya on the mentor protege relationship and other by Tonya on how Halloween started. Table topics by Laurel were fun from mint or gum to what would you put on the restaurant menu. Great meeting overall. And as Tonya said “sugar responsibly” and stay safe this Halloween. 🎃💀👻🥰🙂

Join us Thursday October 15 at the Knox Community Hospital. Hosting the meeting will be the Marion Club. 🙂

Today’s meeting was an Open House! 🎉 We had a few past members join us again! 🥳 Our meeting theme was Vanquishing our Monsters by Fear Management. 🎃💀April Ware gave a nice speech about overcoming our fears while public speaking. Our Table Topics were also based on the Fear theme and played into Halloween 🎃 for the month of October. Word of the Day was vanquish. Our meeting was a success. 👏
