YOU !!! Today, You helped us make our 18th annual open house a huge success !

Approximately over 250 people (and 3 furry Friends) came out to visit the office, meet the staff and allow us to show you some appreciation..

We hope everyone was able to gather information on Veterans benefits, start that most important relationship with our office, and get some food and goodies.

Events like this and other outreach opportunities would not be possible without the vision and support of your Veteran Service Commission and the office staff.

A special thank you to this year's newest addition, our food truck, the Pit Stop Express!

Investing in today's youth is one of the most important things we can do. It was our pleasure to welcome East elementary School to the office.

Our third graders took learning beyond the classroom this week as they explored our community on a walking field trip through Mount Vernon! Students had the opportunity to visit with Mayor Starr to experience local government, learn about the important services and support provided by Knox County Veterans Services along with receiving a special coin with the branch of the military, and tour our local fire department while discovering how firefighters help keep our community safe every day.

This hands-on experience helped students connect what they are learning in the classroom to the people and places that make our community strong. Knox County Veterans Services and our mobile unit is on location today at the Colonial City Moose Lodge.

We are proud to be a part of the moose international "Valued Veterans" initiative.

Mount Vernon's moose Lodge is hosting the central Ohio Value Veterans spring fling!

Recognitions, chapter 5 rolling thunders traveling wall, KCCC Air Force JROTC demonstrations, food, music and more! Director Kevin Henthorn will be providing today's keynote speaker duties...

Kicks off at 2:00 p.m., food served at 3:00 p.m.,

We hope in the future to add an additional monument, statue, or another patriotic display for future generations to enjoy upon visiting Knox County veterans services.
