There are seasons in life when we feel strong, confident, and ready to face whatever comes our way. There are also seasons when we feel overwhelmed, discouraged, betrayed, or simply exhausted.

In 2 Samuel 3, David makes a surprising confession: "Though I am the anointed king, I am weak." Even a man after God's own heart experienced moments of weakness, uncertainty, and despair. Yet David discovered what we all need to learn—God's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in our weakness.

This Sunday at MVCC, we'll look at 2 Samuel 3 and Psalm 55 and be reminded that when we feel like we can't go on, God is still at work. The same grace that carried Noah through the flood, strengthened Paul through his trials, and raised Jesus from the dead is available to us today.

If you're carrying a heavy burden, facing disappointment, or simply need encouragement, we'd love for you to join us as we worship together and find strength in the Lord.

Come discover how God's power shines brightest when we are weak.

Coffee, breakfast snacks, and fellowship 9:30
Worship begins at 10

Have you ever found yourself waiting on God and wondering, "Lord, why is this taking so long?"

Most of us know what it's like to wait. We pray, we trust, we seek God's direction, and sometimes it feels like the answer just isn't coming. During those seasons, it's easy to become discouraged and even begin listening to the lies that tell us God has forgotten us.

This Sunday at MVCC, we'll be looking at 2 Samuel 2 and the life of David. God had promised David the throne years earlier, yet he spent nearly two decades waiting for God's promise to be fulfilled. Through every delay, disappointment, and obstacle, David learned a powerful truth: God's timing is always right.

If you're waiting for God to answer a prayer, open a door, provide direction, bring healing, restore a relationship, or fulfill a promise, this message is for you.

We'll discover why waiting is such an important part of our faith journey, how God works even when we can't see it, and why we can trust Him even when His timing doesn't make sense to us.

The same God who sent Jesus "in the fullness of time" is still working according to His perfect timing today.

Join us this Sunday at MVCC as we worship together, open God's Word, and be reminded that God hasn't forgotten you. His timing is perfect, His promises are true, and His hand is still at work in your life.

Come worship with us tomorrow.
Come as you are and bring a friend. We'd love to worship with you!
Coffee, breakfast snacks, and fellowship at 9:30. Worship starts at 10.

You know you belong here.
We know Jesus, and we make Him known.
We'll see you tomorrow.
God bless.

Life changes fast, doesn’t it? One day you’re young and strong, the next day you throw your back out getting out of bed. Kids grow up. Grandkids come along. Jobs change. Health changes. Even the victories in life can feel temporary.

That’s why Psalm 18 is so important for us.

This Sunday at MVCC, we’re talking about what it means for God to be our Rock in a world where everything else keeps moving around. David had been through battles, loss, fear, and danger, yet he still declared:

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer…”

Not “a” rock. My rock.

There’s a difference between knowing about God and truly leaning on Him when life gets heavy.

We’ll talk about the victory we have in Jesus that death itself cannot take away. We’ll talk about faith, spiritual battles, and why Jesus is still our refuge when life feels overwhelming.

If you’re tired, discouraged, struggling, grieving, or just need to be reminded that God has not changed, come worship with us tomorrow at MVCC.

And maybe before the day is over, tell the Lord something we don’t say enough:

“I love you, Lord.”

Coffee, breakfast snacks, and fellowship at 9:30. Worship starts at 10.

We know Jesus, and we make Him known.
We'll see you soon.
You know you belong here.
