Shakespeare Northwest's original Touring Show, "The Comically Tragic Tales of British Bill", premiered this past weekend at the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival in Volunteer Park!

If you missed us there, you can catch this fun show at our home at the Rexville Blackrock Ampitheatre - Wednesday, July 23rd and 30th, and Thursday, August 7th at 7:00 p.m.. You can also catch our main stage production of "Much Ado About Nothing".

Come enjoy Shakespeare under the stars ... as it was meant to be!

The new sign was installed today!

The rock quarry at the southern end of Pleasant Ridge in the area known as Rexville. The rock was blasted out and crushed by hand to use to build roads and dikes. Photos are from around 1910.

Christopher Marlowe's "Edward II" directed by Daniel Ruiz;
Shakespeare in the Park show: "Once Upon a Shakespearean Tale"

Prepare 2 (two) contrasting 1- minute monologues:
One should be Shakespeare or heightened language.
Be prepared to show us a talent or silly human trick! Tell us a joke!

Shakespeare Northwest's 2016 season has closed. The stalwart cast of Cymbeline and The Merchant of Vegas have performed their last upon the stage at the Rexville-Blackrock Amphitheatre. Fare thee well 'til next year!
