Y’all, we are SO excited to announce that we have been awarded a generous grant from the Jason Heigl Foundation to offer our community FREE spay and neuter!
You heard that right, ABSOLUTELY FREE.
FREE spay/neuter (kittens and puppies must be 8 weeks old/2 lbs)
FREE rabies vaccine
FREE FVRCP or DHPP vaccine
FREE microchip
We are incredibly thankful to the Jason Heigl Foundation for giving us the opportunity to provide this service to our community!
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE COMING TO SIGN-UPS.
SIGN-UP INFORMATION:
Sign-ups will be IN PERSON ONLY.
We cannot schedule appointments through Facebook, email, phone, or any other method. You must come to our facility in person to register.
APPOINTMENTS ARE LIMITED.
We will have a set number of appointments available for male dogs, female dogs, male cats, and female cats. We will continue scheduling until those spots are filled.
Please understand that coming to sign-ups does NOT guarantee an appointment. Because we expect a high turnout, there is always a possibility that you may wait in line only to find out that the available appointments have already been filled. We know this would be disappointing, but we want everyone to be aware of that possibility before making the trip and waiting in line.
If we do not completely fill the available appointments on October 3rd, we will announce an additional sign-up date at a later time.
There is a LIMIT OF 2 PETS PER HOUSEHOLD.
A $20 CASH DEPOSIT PER APPOINTMENT is required at the time of sign-up.
This deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED when you bring your pet for their scheduled surgery.
If you do not show up for your appointment, your deposit will NOT be refunded. We hate to require a deposit for a free program, but these appointments are extremely valuable, and we want to make sure that every available surgery spot is actually used.
Once you are given an appointment, the date cannot be changed. If you need to cancel, we require at least 7 DAYS NOTICE so we have enough time to offer that appointment to someone else.

12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, OR until all available appointments are filled

Our doors will open at EXACTLY 12:00 PM.
We will NOT accept any early registrations. We want this process to be as fair as possible for everyone, so sign-ups will not begin before noon.
Our facility has limited parking in the front. There is some additional parking available around the back if needed.
Please be respectful of the people around you and be mindful of traffic. HWY 90 is a busy road, so PLEASE be careful when entering, exiting, or parking around the facility.
PLEASE BE PREPARED TO WAIT.
Any time we have offered free or very low-cost spay/neuter, turnout has been extremely high. We will have a team ready to help everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible, but we fully expect sign-up day to be busy and hectic.
We ask everyone to please be patient and respectful while you wait.
WE WILL NOT TOLERATE DISRESPECT OR RUDENESS TOWARD OUR TEAM OR OTHER PEOPLE WAITING TO SIGN UP.
A little patience and kindness will go a long way in helping the day run smoothly.
DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS TO SIGN-UPS.
We only need you on October 3rd. Your pets will come with you on their actual surgery date, which you will be notified of upon registration.
We apologize for the lengthy post, but we want everyone to know what to expect ahead of time so we can make sign-up day as smooth as possible for everyone involved.

If you cannot make it on October 3rd, stay tuned to our page. There is a possibility of an additional grant sign-up date if appointments remain available, and we will also announce when our routine low-cost spay/neuter clinics resume.
