Weston, West Virginia flood drive. A round trip of 12 hours total. We would like to thank everyone that donated to our drive. A huge thank you to Ace Hardware Mount Union, both Dollar Trees in Burnham and Lewistown for putting disaster relief buckets together for us. Special thank you from our North Carolina family and friends of the Angels for your donations also. The system they had in effect for flood victims was so organized and neatly distributed. In one picture, you will see a creek. That creek flooded, and the water level was so high it was 2 ft below the red lights. It's unbelievable the power of these storms. The National Guard was in full force in town, helping with cleanup. They did say it would take at least three months to clean up flooded vehicles out of mud and debris. Lots of mud and dust. She did tell us that in a 500-year flood plan, they had never seen anything like this. Once again, thank you for all the help in doing this trip.

I don't even know where to start. 😭 Our hearts are broken. The Angels have lost one of our own due to nasty CANCER. This beautiful soul will be missed by us more than anyone could ever imagine. Sera Needham, our beautiful Angel, will be forever missed. The hard work you put into fundraising for us for every drive we ever did until you became sick. I know you will have those Angel wings soon. You will forever be remembered and missed here by us. I truly can't find the words for this post that you deserve. Jody, my heart breaks for you. I know the love you two had for each other was bigger than the sky. Please keep Sera's family and the Angels in your thoughts and prayers as we try to wrap our heads around this loss. Thank you for giving everything you had to make sure someone else didnt go without.
Love you forever, beautiful ANGEL. REST IN SWEET PEACE. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped and donated to the flood victims of West Virginia. We are so appreciative of all the support we receive when we do these collections. A huge thank you to Pete Cato for all his help with getting us supplies. We are still accepting donations until Friday evening. We will be leaving Saturday morning to deliver the supplies. Once again, thank you for all the support. This lady was so helpful with getting us boxes from Moon Dragon, and also stocking us up with cereals and Ramen noodles. Thank you for the donations and also thank you for your service in our military.

Anyone wishing to follow us to West Virginia on Saturday, August 1st, may do so. Our group will be leaving Lewistown by 6 a.m. to head to Mount Union to meet the rest of the group and travel to our drop location, where we will remain for a few hours to help hand out items to the flood victims. I was told by our contact, Erica, that volunteers are needed just as much as the supplies. If you can help, please do.

*** The list will be updated on Monday with items in dire need.
The Burnham and Lewistown Dollar Tree have agreed to help us with getting items. They created a bucket full of items for $21-$22 each.
Mount Union ACE Hardware has created a few different styles of buckets of cleaning supplies for $25 or under.
If you purchase a bucket, you can drop it off at the radio station on the square downtown Lewistown, Monday-Friday.
Or drop it off on the square downtown Lewistown on Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM. The Angels will be there collecting the items for delivery on Saturday, August 1st. If anyone would like to help drive vehicles down and help hand out stuff, please reach out to us.

August 1st is delivery day to West Virginia!

The Angels are on a disaster relief mission to help one of our own, Cheryl Metz, and her hometown in West Virginia. If you are not aware of what has been going on, they are dealing with some major flooding from the storms that recently moved through. So we are doing a 3.5-hour drive to her hometown area to deliver the supplies.

We would like to thank the JRVVB for supporting our organization. This community has been very supportive of us and has helped us with all our disaster relief efforts. Ladies, thank you for everything you do in the community as well.

When Big Boy No. 4014 rolled into Lewistown, the community—and visitors from across the country—showed up in a big way.
The Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau and Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce team handed out 500 bottles of water, with donations coming in from near and far to support the Angels from Bigfoot Country—an organization that helps neighbors in times of disaster, from fires to floods.
Presenting the $500 donation are, from left, Rhonda Kelley, Chamber; Natali Wise-Foltz, JRVVB; Alyssa Brown, Chamber; Ashley Yoder, JRVVB; Natalie Feathers and Cheryl Metz, Angels from Bigfoot Country; and Jenny Landis, JRVVB.
