PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp empowers children, adults, and veterans living with disabilities through adaptive recreation.

Since 1948, we've provided a safe, inclusive space to build confidence, independence, and lifelong memories. PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp is a summer camp for children and adults with special needs. Our mission is to provide all individuals with special needs the opportunity to enjoy a camping experience encompassing recreational, educational, and personal adjustment. Special emphasis is placed on s

timulating interests and appreciation for recreation and learning, and to encourage attempting new challenges. The camp also serves as a reference center for Pennsylvania Residents for support services in their local area.

Day 3 was our final day at the Pocono Raceway and it was a day filled with courageous stories from Gold Star Families, an amazing prayer service and flag tribute, and more time spent with our wonderful event mates in the Vet Village. A huge thank you to the Director of Military Affairs, SGM(R) Kevin Bittenbender for inviting and including us. We have met so many wonderful organizations who work to support a community for whom we all owe a debt of gratitude to for keeping America safe and strong. Thank you for a weekend we won’t soon forget!

Nestled in 583 acres of Appalachian Mountains along the Juniata River, the PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp has been a place of belonging for 75 years. The Circle of Honor Veterans Memorial Walkway is the next chapter, a permanent gathering space built for the veterans who already call this place home.

We always wanted to create a sacred space for our veterans to come, remember, and honor both their service and the service of others. In this vein, we're building something permanent at Beacon Lodge Camp. The Circle of Honor is a 42-foot circular Veterans Memorial Walkway, laid in engraved brick, surrounding a sacred fire space, right at the heart of camp, where veterans already gather.

It's not just a monument. It's a place to return to.
