TOMORROW we are turning up the HEAT! 🔥

Join us from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm tomorrow at Roger-Newman Park in Mount Union for the 2026 Mount Union Fall Pepper Fest! 🌶️

🥣 CHILI- Bring a crockpot of chili by 11:00 am to be entered into the Chili Competition. Or swing by between 11:00-2:00 and taste test each chili for a $5 donation and cast your vote for your favorites!

🌭 CONCESSIONS/BAKE SALE- Purchase some delicious baked goods, food, or a snack from the concession area. All proceeds from the concession area support the local "Letters to Santa" project!

🔥 HOT PEPPER EATING CONTEST- Get in on the action or come watch others suffer through the heat. The competition begins at 4:00 pm. Come sign a waiver before the competition begins if you want to participate!

🧒 BRING THE KIDS - We have fun kids' activities throughout the day with kids' events every hours. Pinatas, Seran Un-Wrap, Kids' Pepper Eating Contest, Story Hour, and a Hay Hunt!

🧑‍🌾 INCREASE YOUR GARDENING KNOWLEDGE - The Master Gardeners will be available throughout the festival. They will be giving tips and answering all of your gardening questions. They will also hold education sessions inside of the garden throughout the day.

🎤 COME SING- We have the music and the mics. Karaoke available throughout the festival. Let's hear you sing!

Most of all, we hope that you come out for a little community fun to a festival that helps keep the Mount Union Area Community Garden running for another growing season. 🌱

🫵 Do you make a delicious Chili or know someone who does? 🫘

Get entered into the Chili Competition this weekend at the Mount Union Fall Pepper Fest!

All you have to do is bring a crockpot of your best chili by 11:00 am and pick up your crockpot anytime after 2:00 pm. (You don't have to stay the whole time, but there will be plenty of fun if you decide to!)

There is NO CHARGE to enter!

TWO WINNERS will be chosen!

BOTH winners will receive prizes and bragging rights!

Tag someone that you think should enter. Then message us or just show up on Saturday morning by 11:00 am with your delicious Chili!
