NewSong Counseling The name for the center was inspired by the idea that God provides new beginnings and fresh opportun

Cathy discovered that few affordable opportunities for counseling existed in the area, causing many people to travel to receive services that were often expensive. Cathy wanted to offer therapy to those who could not afford to travel, so she created a sliding fee structure that ranges from $25 - $100 per session and is based on the individual's income.

Cathy will be working remotely and returning to the office as needed to continue casting vision, supporting directors and staff, maintaining strong community partnerships and building new ones. Cathy will also continue seeing a few clients virtually.

Recently she said, “It has been my extreme pleasure and joy to serve the children and teenagers of our Mount Sterling community and beyond. What a gift it is to me to use play as a means to empower and nurture children who have experienced trauma! They are brave warriors and will always be my heroes!”

NewSong is in good hands with strong directors and staff who are dedicated and devoted to continuing the mission to provide affordable, local counseling services in a cozy, safe home. Our high standard of excellence and diligence is firm! We look forward to a long road of offering hope, safety and belonging to everyone who enters.
