Sterling Community Food Coalition Food Pantry We are a Mt.

Sterling-Montgomery County, KY 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide food for people who are insecure in their food supply and to support ongoing efforts by our community to end hunger. We have established a food pantry to complement the good work already being done in the community by other food pantries, churches, organizations, businesses and individuals. Whether by volunteering, giving, referring someone who is insecure in their food supply or making others aware of these opportunities, there are plenty of ways you can make a difference. "Together, We Feed More"

This week our Pantry received a beautiful surprise from two anonymous travelers passing through Mount Sterling. As part of their journey across America, they chose to bless our community with a $250 donation.

Their kindness reminds us that generosity can come from anywhere, and that the work we do here matters beyond our county lines. To our anonymous friends—thank you for seeing the value in serving neighbors. Your gift will directly support families right here in Montgomery County.

Support the food pantry during Court Day weekend. We will be parking cars at Grace Communion Church at 10 N Queen Street. See the flyer. We will have a donation container there also if you would like to just stop by and drop any spare change.

📢 COURT DAY FESTIVAL – PET RESTRICTION

The Mt. Sterling Police Department would like to remind everyone attending the upcoming Court Day Festival, taking place October 16, 17, and 18, that pets are not permitted within the festival area.

In accordance with Mt. Sterling City Ordinance 115.08, patrons are prohibited from bringing animals to the festival. Service animals meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are the only exception.

Under the ADA, a service animal is generally defined as a dog or, in limited circumstances, a miniature horse that has been individually trained to perform tasks or work for a person with a disability. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not considered service animals under the ADA and therefore are not permitted within the festival area.

This restriction is in place to help ensure the safety and comfort of festival patrons and vendors while allowing everyone to enjoy Court Day safely.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding. We look forward to seeing you at the Court Day Festival!
