After a major renovation of the 120-year-old Scovell Hall building, the Kentucky 4-H State Officer Team was proud to be part of the celebration marking the reopening of this iconic campus landmark.
University of Kentucky leaders, faculty, staff, students, alumni and supporters gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the project, which restored the building while creating spaces that will support collaboration, student success and community engagement for generations to come.
"Whether preparing future professionals, strengthening families, supporting local communities or improving health and quality of life, the work happening inside Scovell Hall will have an impact far beyond this campus," said Laura Stephenson, Ph.D., vice president for land-grant engagement and dean of Martin-Gatton CAFE.
