Deep Creek Tea Service - this Thursday at Dance

Buckminster (Bodhi) is a young but steadfast student of Chinese tea, having steeped in its philosophies and principles for 12 years. He founded Deep Creek Tea as a reflection of an undying love for this plant, which only continues to grow. He is dedicated to providing wares, experiences, and artisanal teas, curated for budding palettes and curious hearts with this prayer: may we co-create a simple platform upon which tea culture--and the people connected to it--can be explored, upheld, and communed with in harmony.

This Thursday, so stoked to welcome YOHM back 🔥

Yohm began the journey as a DJ in the year 2000 playing vinyl reggae,funk and hip hop records.Over the years his sound has evolved into a blend of world influenced fusion beats with thick bass drops.Known for playing remixes of classic tunes and medicine bass, with an ability to adapt his sound to fit most dance floors. Yohm (pronounced like Yo and Ohm) is a combination of Yosef's birthname and one of the most healing sounds on Earth.

Yohm has shared the stage with Desert Dwellers, Clozee,Kalya Scintilla,Bluetech,Phaeleh,Charles the First, Deya Dova and many others.

He has also rocked sets at many festivals including Lightning in a Bottle, Enchanted Forest, Lucidity, Symbiosis, Worldfest, Cosmic Convergence and Stilldream. With a sharp focus on clean mixing and composing a journey through different genres, Yohm's energetic sets keep the crowd engaged and satiated for hours.

Steeped in the love they have for tea, Crystal and DamiEl pour their hearts and joy into their offering of Gong Fu Tea Service at private and public community events.

Gong Fu Cha - To brew tea with great skill is an integral part of their personal practice for mindfullness, presence and peace.

Crystal and DamiEl host private tea service and tea ceremonies at the Sanctum (formerly Harmony House), their Healing Arts and Community Center in downtown Mount Shasta.

Brian Kadmiri (aka) MEDICINE MUSIC, founder of the legendary Remedy SF has been a driving force in the San Francisco electronic music community as an event producer for more than 20 years and a DJ for 10+. After producing a multitude of shows from the early 90’s to the present day, and booking the most sought after and world-renowned artists, it was inevitable that the universe provide the passion and the necessary tools for Brian to begin DJ'ing and producing music. After a beautiful run in the nightlife industry and having a series of profound ""spiritual epiphanies"", Brian shifted his perspective, moved to the mystical & magical root chakra, vortex Mount Shasta (as a result of being called), and began looking into alternative realms of music and dance which were more healing based. Conscious Music Festivals & Ecstatic Dances for example. Since then, Medicine Music has created, and is the founder and resident DJ of the successful Saturday monthly event OM Garden. He’s also been integral part of co-creating the Mt. Shasta Ecstatic Dance Vibe since 2019. In addition Brian has traveled the US sharing the stage with world class artists, producers and dj’s.

Medicine Music is a sound healer and alchemist that methodically blends powerful, shamanic, organic, electronic, rhythmic, and melodic elements from around the world with multiple genres into his soundscapes, which range anywhere from Ambient, Galactic, Etheric, Downtempo-Mid-Uptempo Medicine Music, Bass Music, House, Progressive & Tribal Beats, Percussive WorldBeat, e.g. Middle Eastern, Eastern Indian, African, & Latin, Hip Hop, Trip Hop, Reggae, Dub, & Electronica.

Announcing even more opportunities to dance! Mt Shasta Ecstatic Dance is expanding for the season~
➡️ Introducing Monday night cacao dances - weekly through the summer, with a slightly more social energy
➡️ Thursday night ecstatic dances are staying as their usual format - deep meditative drop-in
➡️ We're continuing to host special events on select Sundays (the format of these vary!)

Every dance has nectar nook, a sonic wave journey, and our awesome community. Both Mondays & Thursdays have circle and dance from 7-9:30pm. Monday nights have cacao as part of the opening circle, Thursdays start an hour earlier with a somatic workshop.

Excited to welcome Elizabeth back this Thursday!

BeeLove pollenates the dance floor with global sounds and genres in a dynamic of varied nectar flow. She makes honey from the vibrations of beeloved artists for a dance that will leaves dancers ecstatic about life from thundering indigenous sounds to harmonic soul sounds. Since dancing 5Rhythms in 2005 and beyond, she has experienced the power of a higher love through the alchemy of music and movement in many cities along the west coast of the US and Hawaii, and now in Mt Shasta where she was co-facilitator and founded Mt Shasta Ecstatic Dance at the
request of the community in 2020. Elizabeth loves providing a safe place for expression of the body temple and soul to weave an open hearted community presence. Together, we co-create a future we want to live in the vibrations of coherent bliss.

Elizabeth brings her passions for piano and music, sacred geometry and sonic alchemy together in the Dance as a moving meditation, ecstatic prayer and gratitude for the wild honey of life.
