Volunteers are a critical part of this program. Without volunteer coaches and support, we simply can’t move forward. Whether you can help on the field or behind the scenes, your time makes a real difference for local youth.

We’re incredibly grateful to the community members and local businesses who stepped up to make this happen.

Due to budgetary restrictions, this is something the District couldn’t take on alone. These improvements have been made because people care deeply about this community and were willing to invest in it.

We truly appreciate the time, resources, and support that went into this—it makes a real difference for everyone who uses this field.

📢 Notice: Temporary Closure of Mt. Shasta City Park

City Park will be fully closed on Friday, April 10, 2026, from sunrise until 4:00 PM.

This closure is necessary to accommodate scheduled grounds maintenance.

Batter Up, Mount Shasta! ⚾

With baseball and softball season starting, the Youth Sports Park parking lot needs to be cleared for players, families, and maybe a few unexpected fly balls.

Any vehicles still parked at the Youth Sports Park for overnight parking during the snow season need to be moved.

Vehicles remaining in the lot are subject to citation and/or towing.

Let’s clear the bases so the kids can play ball! 🥎

Our 6-Week Co-Ed Basketball Rec League is Back!

We’re excited to bring back our youth basketball league! This session includes 3 clinic dates to build skills and 4 game dates to put them into action.

Spots are limited in each age group and this league will fill up quickly.
Age Groups:
• 1st–2nd Grade
• 3rd–4th Grade
• 5th–6th Grade

Price: $110 per athlete — includes a game jersey.
