We are sad to share the passing of Worshipful Brother Joe Lucas, a 67 year member of our Masonic Fraternity. We will be conducting the masonic funeral rites in his honor at 1pm this Sunday April 13 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader in Mt. Pulaski.

202 years ago today, the first Grand Lodge of Illinois A. F. & A. M. was founded on brotherhood, integrity, and the eternal pursuit of knowledge.

While this first Grand Lodge ceased operations in 1827 due to the anti-Masonic movement (with the current Grand Lodge being founded in 1840), we remember this institution for laying the groundwork of our fraternity today.

We had a great weekend representing Mt. Pulaski Lodge at the 185th annual Grand Lodge of Illinois session! Worshipful Brothers Barry Leach and Tim Polk were on hand to be our voice as the Worshipful Master and Senior Warden of our lodge! It was a great time!

Sending a big congratulations to Worshipful Brother Van Hoorn of Atlanta Lodge #165 on achieving 65 years as a Master Mason!

On July 1, 2024 Atlanta Masonic Lodge #165 A.F. & A.M. presented a 65-year service pin and certificate to Worshipful Brother George Van Hoorn.

Worshipful Master Joshua Brown made the presentation at the home of Worshipful Brother George Van Hoorn.
