Embrace Relief volunteers joined Trinity Church volunteers to distribute ready-to-eat meals and gifts to unhoused individuals living in the Mt. Prospect and Arlington Heights areas.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the PADS team for their continued support and partnership.

Today, June 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM through 2:00 PM, the American Red Cross, in collaboration with Embrace Relief, organized a successful Blood Donation Program at the Turkish American Society of Chicago (TASC). The event brought together members of the TASC community and neighboring residents who generously donated blood to help save lives and support patients in need.

Throughout the day, volunteers, donors, and medical staff worked together with dedication and compassion, creating a meaningful atmosphere of unity and service.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all American Red Cross staff for their professionalism and hard work, to every donor for their life-saving contribution, and to the Embrace Relief volunteers for their commitment and support throughout the event.

Our Embrace Relief volunteers from the Midwest states came together through the Midwest Leadership Program (MLP) and successfully fundraised over $20,000 to support humanitarian projects in Tanzania. United by compassion and service, the team traveled to East Africa to open a water well, support orphanage homes, and participate in food distribution programs for families in need.

During their nine-day journey, May 22-31, 2026, the volunteers experienced the realities of life firsthand while making a meaningful and lasting contribution to local communities. Beyond the projects completed, the trip became an unforgettable experience of teamwork, gratitude, empathy, and global solidarity.

We extend our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all organizers, sponsors, donors, and dedicated volunteers whose efforts, generosity, and commitment made this impactful mission possible.
