🌹 Honoring Firefighter Leonard Kaiser 🌹

On June 23, 1977, Firefighter Leonard Kaiser of the Mount Prospect Fire Department suffered a heart attack during a routine training exercise and tragically passed away in the line of duty.

Today, we remember Leonard's dedication, service, and ultimate sacrifice. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who serve. Gone but never forgotten.

Yesterday's crew took advantage of the beautiful weather to get some Fire Apparatus Engineering drills in!

They flowed foam, relay pumped, and practiced supplying multiple hose lines from a single apparatus. These skills take coordination, communication, and a solid understanding of how our equipment performs under different conditions.
