Elk Grove Township is proud to support local nonprofit partners through our Mental Health & Wellness Service Contracts.

We're recognizing Northwest Compass, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to people experiencing urgent housing and food insecurity. Through its HYPE (Helping Youth on the Path to Empowerment) program, Northwest Compass helps unaccompanied young adults ages 18-24 navigate crisis, build life skills, and work toward long-term stability.

Young adults enrolled in HYPE receive personalized case management and connections to housing, education, training, and employment resources. The program also offers life skills workshops, financial literacy education, transportation assistance, and access to essential items such as food, clothing vouchers, hygiene products, and school supplies.

Funding through Elk Grove Township's Mental Health & Wellness Service Contracts helps support Northwest Compass' mission of breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering young adults to achieve greater independence and well-being. We are absolutely thrilled to announce that event attendees are being asked to bring donation items for a drive that will directly benefit our older adult clients! 💙This is an incredible opportunity to support local seniors and ensure they have the resources they need to age safely and comfortably in their own homes. We are proud to support seniors in our community and grateful for the partnership to bring tangible support to older adults! 🌟

🎒 What an incredible Back to School event last week! We were absolutely thrilled to distribute school supplies and help our amazing students start the year strong and confident! ✨
Seeing the students' smiles and sharing those positive vibes for the upcoming school year was an unforgettable experience.❤️ A massive THANK YOU to everyone who donated bags, supplies, and materials, and to the incredible volunteers who organized and distributed everything. We couldn't have done this without our amazing community! Together, we are setting our students up for success! 📚✏️
