Marsha Joiner is a determined and dedicated advocate for the elderly and people with disabilities. Her primary focus is hospice care and the need for greater awareness and accountability.

Hospice care is intended to provide comfort, dignity, and compassionate support at the end of life. Sadly, that is not always the experience of every patient and family. The more you know about hospice care, the better equipped you will be to recognize potential problems, ask the right questions, and protect your loved ones.

Marsha’s book, Betrayed by Hospice and Healthcare- Stories From the Deathbed, serves as both an educational resource and a strong warning. The 30 cases of hospice abuses in the book raise important concerns and encourages families to become informed, vigilant, and proactive when navigating hospice and healthcare services.

THE AUDIT ON PA'S DEPARTMENT OF AGING IS WORRISOME FOR THOSE WITH ELDERLY LOVED ONES: CHAMBERSBURG – The Pennsylvania Auditor General recently took a hard look at the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and the results were more than a little surprising.
