📣 Have you heard? WINFIELD AVENUE IS OPEN! 🎉

Join us this Friday, October 23 at noon as we celebrate with a ribbon cutting ceremony!

The Winfield Avenue Street Improvement Project brings a smoother, safer road and a brand-new bike path for cyclists and pedestrians. The project was made possible through a partnership between the City of Mount Pleasant, Henry County, and a Surface Transportation Program (STP) grant.

📍 We’ll gather at the intersection of N. Broadway & Winfield Ave.
🚗 Parking is available at Public Works on the west side of N. Broadway.

Thank you to everyone along Winfield for your patience during construction. We hope to see you there!

Day 1 of Henry County Leadership is in the books!

We had a great first session getting to know one another, making connections, and kicking off a new year of learning more about our community and what makes Henry County such a great place to live, work, and grow!

Our group learned about and toured the Henry County Heritage Trust museum and learned about the economic impact of Midwest Old Threshers and all the great things they do for our community!

We’re excited to see what this group accomplishes throughout the program. Here’s to a great year ahead! 🙌
