Friends of the Veterans Memorial Library A nonprofit service organization. We raise funds to support the vital resources and services of VML. What do FRIENDS do?

Membership in the Friends means that you appreciate the vital services which the library provides to the community. Join with us to strengthen our library, and therefore, our community. FRIENDS provide funding for specific requests not covered in the library’s budget. FRIENDS give significant financial support to the library’s Summer Reading Program. FRIENDS sponsor an annual book sale each Fall.

FRIENDS provide financial support for the library’s quarterly programming magazine, the review magazine BookPage and for Hoopla,
FRIENDS volunteer their time to help with library events. Special Benefits of being a FRIEND:

FRIENDS are invited to the FRIENDS ONLY book sale preview. FRIENDS are notified of special library events. FRIENDS share an enthusiasm for books and a concern for the library. FRIENDS can actively participate by volunteering at library events. FRIENDS know their support makes a difference!

🎶! Special Alert !🎶 There was a special donation made today of a LARGE collection of Music CD's. The collection is organized in three very neat and clean black faux leather binders. The CD's include Pop, Rock, and Country Music - heavy on the Country. We are selling them together as a set for $60.00. Check at the cashiers table if you would like to look them over.
