From performing as our headliner at our very first Cinco celebration in downtown Mount Pleasant back in 2015 to returning as our headliner for year 11, welcoming La Energía Norteña back to our 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Diamond C Trailers was truly a full circle moment. 💙🔥⚡🪗

To see how much La Energía Norteña has grown over the years has been incredible. Now GRAMMY nominated and 4 time Latin GRAMMY nominated, they have continued building an impressive list of hit songs with their signaature norteño style. Along with fan favorites and regional Mexican hits that have connected with audiences for years, they have also explored creative crossover projects, including El Crossover (2018) and El Crossover 2 (2021), blending their sound with English pop and country influences. They have continued reaching new audiences and how cool was it that during Cinco we even got to enjoy songs like Friends in Low Places and Cowboy Cumbia live on our stage. ❤️

One thing that made Cinco special is they arrived in Mount Pleasant early and had the opportunity to spend a few hours exploring our town before the show. It was so special getting to welcome them back and share a little piece of our community with them. 🏡✨

From the moment they took the stage, la gente was singing, dancing, recording videos, and enjoying every second of the experience. It was amazing to see attendees from across Northeast Texas and beyond come together for such an unforgettable performance.... some ladies even received a beautiful rose. 🌹 🎶Their talent and connection with their fans created an incredible atmosphere and helped close out one of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in East Texas in such a memorable way. ⭐

Ya saben mi gente… keep an eye out for their newest project, EnerGítimo with Grupo Legítimo, released on April 24, 2026, which recently surpassed 1 million streams in only 3 weeks after release. It is pretty special that we had the opportunity to welcome them to Mount Pleasant and Cinco just one week after its release. 👀🔥

Grupo Rigido brought incredible energy to our 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Diamond C Trailers and helped set the stage for an unforgettable night as they opened for La Energía Norteña. 💙 ⚡🪗🔥

One thing that makes Grupo Rigido extra special to us is that they have been part of Cinco almost since the very beginning. Year after year, they continue showing up con mucho corazón, bringing amazing música, and helping create memories for our attendees. 🎶❤️

Not only are they talented performers, but they are also truly wonderful to work with behind the scenes. Their professionalism, flexibility, and willingness to work with everyone involved is something we deeply appreciate and never take for granted. ⭐

As this year’s opening group for La Energía Norteña, they did an incredible job building excitement and creating the atmosphere for an wonderful night. 🔥🎤

The Golden Boyz brought such a unique and unforgettable special performance to our 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Diamond C Trailers. 💙✨

This talented group of young dancers are known for performing at quinceañeras, and during Cinco they showcased a beautiful traditional quince dance performance that truly captured the attention of the crowd. Featuring two quinceañeras with stunning quince dresses and special guest dancers as part of the performance, it was absolutely beautiful to watch. 👸🏽🩷👑

Their performance brought elegance, culture, excitement, and so much energy to the festival experience. Attendees loved seeing something so different and meaningful as part of this year’s special performers lineup. ✨

Coming in from Dallas, Dtown Kumbia brought some fun cumbia vibes to our 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Diamond C Trailers. 💙🔥🎶

As the opening group for Grupo Rigido, DTown Kumbia did an amazing job getting the crowd energized, dancing, and ready for a fun night of live entertainment. From the music to the atmosphere they created, their performance was such a fun part of the evening. 💃🕺🏻🎶

Their Dallas style cumbia sound brought great energy to Cinco, and attendees were fully enjoying the music from beginning to end. 🙌🏼 We truly appreciate DTown Kumbia making the trip to Mount Pleasant and being part of one of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in East Texas. ⭐

La Legion made the trip from the Waxahachie and DFW area to be part of Cinco week and our 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Diamond C Trailers. 🎶💙

Their performance brought a fun mix of música, excitement, and great energy to the festival, and the crowd definitely enjoyed every minute of it. From people singing along to dancing in the crowd, La Legión helped create such a lively atmosphere during the celebration in the evening leading up to our headliner La Energía Norteña. 🔥

During Cinco week, La Legión also had the opportunity to be featured on El Show de Meño, making their Cinco experience even more memorable for the group. On the show we learned a fun fact: Vic, the lead singer of La Legión, is also a teacher and coach when he is not performing with the band. 👨🏻‍🏫📚🍎⚽

We truly love seeing the growth and success de estos muchachos tan humildes. Enchalen ganas and keep up the great work! ⭐

Mount Pleasant’s own Christo Escalante brought incredible talent and country music vibes to our 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Diamond C Trailers. 🎶🤠

Many people in our community have watched him grow up performing over the years. From singing Mariachi as a kid to now performing country music in English, it has been amazing to watch his talent continue to grow. ⭐

Christo graduated from Mount Pleasant High School last year, and we were so proud to have him be part of this year’s entertainment lineup. His performance brought such a fun and unique touch to the festival experience. 🎤

We truly appreciate Christo Escalante sharing his talent with our community and helping make one of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in East Texas so special. ❤️

Traveling from the DFW area, Grupo Decimo brought incredible energy, música, and entertainment to our 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Diamond C Trailers. 💫

This was Grupo Décimo’s first time performing at Cinco, and they did an amazing job creating such a fun atmosphere during their performance. Attendees were dancing, singing along, and fully enjoying the entertainment from beginning to end. 🕺🏻🎶

The group also featured special guest singer Gonzalo Marroquin, making their performance even more special for the crowd. ⭐

We truly appreciate Grupo Décimo y nuestro amigo Gonzalo for making the trip to Mount Pleasant and being part of one of the largest Cinco de Mayo celebrations in East Texas. 💛

Representing Longview, Texas, JR Rubio YSu Consigna brought incredible talent, energy, and great música to our 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Diamond C Trailers. 🎶

One thing that makes JR Rubio y su Consigna so unique is that the band is made up of two brothers, and one is still in high school. Their passion, talent, and dedication to music at such a young age is truly impressive. 🎉

Their performance brought great vibes to the festival, and attendees truly enjoyed getting to experience their music and energy throughout the celebration. JR Rubio y su Consigna also had the opportunity to be featured during Cinco on La Vida TV and El Show de Meño. 🎶

They also recently released their new song, “Wiscashos y Vodka,” now available on all music platforms. We are excited to continue watching their growth and success. 🙌🏼🎤
