Meet Kaba.
Kaba is now 6 weeks old. He is a male Anatolian Shepherd. This is not a dog for just anyone. This is a working / herding dog. He needs a farm, goat farm would be perfect.
This is a dog that needs to start training as young as possible.
He's a little firecracker, big personality in a getting bigger package. He's got strong opinions and will let them be known. Loves dogs, cats, and various other creatures. Good with strangers too. Working on potty training. He also knows the command sit.
He is doing well after his hernia.
He has had one round of vaccines and has been dewormed. At 6 weeks of age he is 10 lbs. Should be over a 100lbs full grown.
You must be familiar with the breed.
He can be released after 8 weeks of age.

The Anatolian Shepherd Dog is a large, powerful, and ancient livestock guardian breed from Turkey, known for being loyal, protective, and independent. They are calm and observant but territorial, requiring firm training and early socialization, and are best suited for outdoor living with plenty of space, not as apartment dogs. Their rugged appearance comes from a muscular build and a double coat that can be short or long, requiring extra grooming during seasonal sheds.
Key Characteristics
• Origin:
Anatolia region of Turkey, used for thousands of years to guard flocks from predators.
• Size:
Large and muscular; males can weigh 110–150 lbs and stand 29+ inches tall.
• Temperament:
Loyal, intelligent, patient, and protective, but can be standoffish with strangers.
• Coat:
Double coat (short or long/rough) with a thick undercoat; comes in various colors, often fawn or cream.
• Grooming:
Minimal except during heavy seasonal shedding, when they need frequent brushing.
Ideal Environment & Training
• Living: Best suited for outdoor living with a securely fenced yard; not recommended as a house pet in apartments.
• Exercise: Needs plenty of daily exercise, like running in a large, fenced area.
• Training: Requires firm, consistent training and early socialization to manage their guarding instincts and independence.
Health & Lifespan
• Health: Prone to hip dysplasia.
• Lifespan: 10–13 years.
