🐾🩵We responded to a plea for help- these pups had been dumped in a rural area and some good peeps kept them safe and posted for help. They were two hours away but as soon as we offered assistance Kimberly and Denny loaded them up and made the 4 hour round trip to Charleston to get these pups the help they needed! They met Sandy as I was doing adoptions who then met me! Dr Klein also came by to see them!🐾🩵The pups have been out in the elements for a while. The fleas and ticks were plentiful, their coats are dull and sparse, they have mange (demodex not contagious), ear infections, many abrasions from constant scratching and I can only imagine the parasite load. These kids were uncomfortable and unwell! They appear to be pyr mixes and about 4 months.
🐾🩵Baths, flea and tick meds, ears treated, dewormer and food and we are on the mend! As always the first night was a little rough but they will settle in as it’s all new.
🩵Thank you to Kimberly and Denny for making the trip, thank you to Sandy for meeting them, thank you to Dr Klein for coming by!! More updates to come!!!

🐾💞Tw***ie is the perfect compact low energy adventure buddy! Hike or just chilling on a resturant patio, she’s your girl. All she wants from you is love….and maybe a few French fries. It’s hard to resist Tw***ie’s “puppy eyes”.
Tw***ie does well in the car, walking on a leash and is crate and house trained. She currently lives with another dog and a cat and does well with both and another dog would be a bonus.

🐾🩵Milo, fka Bowie, should be almost to Ohio! His new mom flew in late last night, rented a car and Allison and I met her at a hotel with Milo! This morning the two headed home!
🐾🩵Milo’s was out on the town with Moira when and he met his now furever. They were on vacation in Charleston and fell in love! They had to head home but could not stop thinking about him so they made arrangements to come back for their boy!!
🐾🩵We are so thankful to this family for making the trip to Charleston to adopt Milo! We are also so thankful to Allison for fostering Milo for almost three months , from when he was only 15lbs and now 40lbs! Thank to Moira for taking Milo on many outings and for introducing him to his family!
