Serving Camp, Franklin, Morris, and Titus Counties in Texas. What is Special Catch?
∙ An organized fishing event held at Heritage Park Lake in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
∙ Just days before the event, the lake is stocked with 1000 lbs. catfish to increase the chance that each participant will make a special catch.
∙ All fishing supplies including rods, reels, and bait are provided for participant use a
t no charge.
∙ All participants fish at no charge.
∙ In addition to each participant’s personal chaperone, volunteers throughout the community assist participants with fishing.
∙ Each participant receives a free Special Catch T-shirt and their catch is filleted and bagged to take home. Who are Special Catch Participants?
