Blessed Chiara Badano, pray for us🙏🏻

Today is the feast day of Bl. Chiara Luce Badano. She's a patron of youth and athletes. She suffered from a tumor that metastasized, and died at the age of 18. Her last words were to her mom: "Mom, Ciao! Be happy, because I am."

Hosted by the John Paul II Catholic Campus Ministry at UT Tyler, this event kicks off on Friday, November 7th at 7 PM.
It's a great chance to connect with fellow Catholic college students while enjoying Paul's engaging talk on "The Catholic Guide to Adulting"—practical wisdom infused with humor and spiritual insight to navigate life's big transitions. 5:30pm Mass will be offered before and an After Party will be hosted after his talk for those who can come early or stay late! 🎉 Congratulations to everyone from Saint Dominic Savio Youth Group who attended DCYC 2025! 🎉

We had such an amazing weekend filled with music, dancing, inspiring speakers, and the joy of friendship and faith! Thank you all for your enthusiasm, participation, and great energy — you made this experience unforgettable!

A special thank you to the DCYC Committee for all their hard work and dedication in making this event possible. We are truly grateful!

You’re never too young to be a light for Christ. ❤️

REJOICE! We Have New Saints! 🙏😇

Carlo Acutis & Pier Giorgio Frassati, two young men who lived in different centuries, but walked the same path of radical love for Christ.

St. Carlo Acutis was a teen from Italy who used his tech skills to spread the faith. He created a website documenting Eucharistic miracles and called the Eucharist his “highway to heaven.” He died of leukemia at just 15, offering his suffering for the Church and the Pope.

St. Pier Giorgio Frassati was a joyful, adventurous young man known for mountain climbing, deep prayer, and radical charity. He served the poor in secret and inspired his friends to holiness. He died at 24, and thousands showed up at his funeral and most of whom his family didn’t even know he had helped.

Two saints. One message: You’re never too young to be a light for Christ. ❤️
