This morning, our Board President, Jon Anderson, and I had the privilege of presenting a check for $700 to Camp County Service Industries from donations received at our Together We Rise Breakfast.

A special thank you to Executive Director Michael Shastid for the incredible work he and his team do to empower individuals with disabilities through vocational training, support services, and opportunities for greater independence.

We are so grateful for our generous donors who continue to show up, give, and make a difference in the lives of others. Because of your support, organizations like Camp County Service Industries can continue serving our community in meaningful ways.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, shared, and encouraged others to get involved. Together, we truly do rise. 💛

Join us this Friday for our Together We Rise Breakfast benefiting Camp County Service Industries!
For decades, Camp County Service Industries has been helping individuals with disabilities gain valuable job skills, confidence, and independence through vocational training and supportive services. Their mission is to empower every individual to reach their highest potential and live with dignity, purpose, and opportunity.
🍳 Breakfast will be served from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM

They are also currently seeking donated commercial lawnmowers (52" and above) to help support their lawn care crews and vocational training programs.

Join us June 5 from 7 AM–9 AM as we partner with Camp County Service Industries for our Together We Rise Breakfast!
Camp County Service Industries provides vocational training, transportation, life skills, and support services for individuals with disabilities—helping them build confidence, independence, and brighter futures right here in our community.
One of the ways they help support their programs is through their lawn care crews. Their consumers work hard mowing properties throughout the community, building skills and gaining valuable work experience. Right now, they are in need of donated commercial lawnmowers (52” and above). They normally operate with six mowers but are currently down to four.
If you or someone you know has a mower to donate, it could make a huge difference for this organization and the individuals they serve.

Today we had the honor of delivering Mother’s Day gifts to Ms. Marsha Morris of Expectant Heart 💛
I had so much fun putting these gift bags together, and I truly hope they bring smiles, encouragement, and a reminder to each expectant and new mother that she is loved and supported.
Because of our incredible donors, we were able to donate a total of $1,066.97 in gifts and donations for the mothers of Expectant Heart. That kind of generosity is what makes this community so special.
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our posts, came to breakfast, or simply prayed for this fundraiser. None of this would have been possible without you.

Because of you, $825 was raised on East Texas Giving Day—and that impact doesn’t stop there. It continues through every nonprofit we’re able to support right here in our community.
