The Mid-South Barbecue Festival is a KCBS sanctioned, Tennessee State Championship BBQ competition in historic downtown Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. A family friendly event, the Festival includes an old fashioned street fair with entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, a Kid's Zone, children's costume contest and plenty local barbecue to sample. A 100 mile cycle ride, 5k and classic car show are also Festival events. Dates are October 15 & 16, 2021

📢 Important Announcement: Annual BBQ Festival Update 🍖

Dear MidSouth BBQ Family Community,

We hope you're doing well. The BBQ Festival this year will not be taking place as scheduled. We appreciate your support over the years. We have a lot of upcoming community festivals and celebrations that will be taking place including kicking off A Very Pleasant Christmas on November 4th, 2023, and the Bicentennial on October 11th and 12th in 2024. Some very exciting news coming this year along with the annual BBQ Fest!! This year we will have our first ever community pep rally to help support our MPHS Tigers before the Mount Pleasant vs. Summertown game Friday, October 14th.

Come and show your tiger spirit before the game along with the MPHS cheerleaders and marching band! We will also have guest speaker Jeffery Dobbins! 💙❤️
