During the GreenSylvania Competition, Mount Pleasant High School collected 4690 lbs of paper in just one month! This saves about 41 trees, 17,000 gallons of water, 200 gallons of oil, and enough energy to power the average American home for 14 months. Great job everyone for their work towards the recycling competition, and let's hope our school wins!
