Wreck 'Em, Tech!👆

Over the past week, the Work4College students visited Texas Tech University, giving them a neat opportunity to experience campus life while exploring academic and career pathways firsthand. During the trip, students toured the National Ranching Heritage Center, Meat Lab (Davis College of Agricultural Science & Natural Resources), Rawls College of Business, and the University Career Center.

🌟W4C Alumni: Sydney Carey🌟
Sydney Carey began her college journey at Northeast Texas Community College while still in high school through dual credit, earning 45 hours before graduating. She completed her associate degree at NTCC and then transferred to Stephen F. Austin State University, where she earned a BBA in Business Communication and Corporate Education in May 2025. Sydney was active on campus, including membership in Zeta Tau Alpha, and is now Program Director and Community Liaison at Titus County Cares.

She credits NTCC for its supportive environment and opportunities to stay close to home while building a strong academic foundation. She also highlights the impact of Dr. Reagan on her study habits and the Work4College program for providing valuable professional experience that helped shape her career.
