We were honored to attend the Women in Business Luncheon hosted by Diamond C Trailers and the Mount Pleasant Texas Chamber of Commerce last week.

Every week, we’re serving our community in different ways—providing food, supporting families, and coming alongside our neighbors.

Whether it’s the food pantry, Food4Kids, Cares4Kids, or our monthly produce drop, it all comes back to one thing: caring for people.

For many children in our community, the school week provides more than education. It provides reliable meals.

Through Food4Kids, weekend food bags help ensure local students have access to nutritious food when school is not in session. Each bag is a reminder that they are seen, cared for, and supported by a community that wants them to thrive.

Right now, nearly 1,900 children in Titus County face food insecurity. It costs about $90 to provide weekend meals for one child for the entire school year.

Thanks to a generous $20,000 matching grant from the Carl C. Anderson Sr. & Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation, every dollar donated to Food4Kids will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling the impact for local children in need.

💙 As we wrap up another year of Food4Kids, we want to say thank you to the incredible volunteers who faithfully serve behind the scenes each week during the school year.

From setting up, to packing bags, to delivering food to students, this program happens because of people willing to show up and care for local children and families. 🍎

We especially want to recognize Rob Holliday and Sally Holliday, who have overseen the program for the past 9 years. Their dedication, consistency, and heart for serving others have made a lasting impact on so many lives throughout Titus County.

As they step away from this role to spend more time enjoying grandparent duties, we simply want to say thank you. 💙 Your service has meant more than words can express.

📚☀️ Summer reading season is here!

One of our favorite traditions each year is helping get books into the hands of local students before summer break. Through our book distribution program, Titus County Cares provided more than 5,000 books to kindergarten through 4th grade students across our community to encourage summer reading. 💙

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover the joy of reading all summer long.

Thank you to everyone who helps make programs like this possible for local families and students.
