Just a reminder, we will be doing the Snyder Cup at 1:30pm Sunday August 23rd. Bring your fastest plane to see if you can be the fastest plane out there. We will be using a radar gun to check speeds and you will get 3 runs across the field to check your speed. Also we will try to do a round of Warbird races after the Snyder cup. Hope to see you there! Hi Members and Friends,
This Saturday, August 22nd is AMA National Model Aviation Day. To celebrate, bring your oldest plane to the field, in flyable condition or not! This can be the oldest plane you own, even if you are a new member and your oldest plane is only a few months old, or it can be a model of an old plane, like a Wright Flyer. In any case, bring your stories and memories along with it. We will have Pizza about 12 noon. Flying gets started at 10am. Weather looks good, at least until about 5 or 6 o'clock. Hope to see you there.

Mark your calendars. Saturday, August 22nd is AMA National Model Aviation Day.
If you can’t get to the AMA field in Muncie, Indiana, you can
attend our event on the same day at our field. The theme will be
“ Old Model Day “. Bring your oldest models to the field, flyable
or not. Let’s see the history of our hobby. If you are new to the
hobby, your oldest plane may only be months old. Bring it
along! So dust off those old planes you had almost forgotten
about and share them with your fellow members. Remember to
bring along the old stories attached to these models.
