Luminary kits have all been delivered! Our amazing team of volunteers began deliveries last weekend and finished up today. Thank you again for participating in this exciting and meaningful event! Please contact me if you did not receive your luminaries or if you have any issues with your order.
This Saturday evening will be so memorable as we illuminate our neighborhoods!
As a group, we have raised over $6800 so far this year, and during the event on Saturday, my sister, Sadie, and her volunteer team will be selling s’mores at the Tupelo Bay / Bridgetown Pass Firepit in Hibben from 7:30-9:00 (while supplies last) to add to our total! I hope you’ll stop by to say hello and enjoy s’mores and community!
Please remember to pick up your sand later this week! Sand will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. It will be located on the Hibben Park Parking Pad on December 11th-14th (while supplies last). Bring a bucket or a few plastic grocery bags to hold your sand. We will provide containers to use for scooping and directions on how much to scoop! (2.5 quarts of sand needed per 10 luminaries.) I’ll send out an email as soon as it arrives.
Thank you to DAVIS SUPPLY for their generosity in donating the sand for this event for the fourth year in a row!
I am so very thankful for our volunteers who helped deliver over 300 kits this year: Alison, Will, Pierce, Grant, and Smith Chandler, Sara Beth and Emory Ebner, Annie, Mac, and Sims Plunkett, Isabella Prevuznak, Linda Romo, Emma Claire Shealy, Leighton Stair, and Molly White.
With gratitude,
Caroline Koysza
