We had a special 4-H member taking some pictures for us at Dr. Pol Day back in June. She used a couple of them as projects for fair week, but then shared some with us and we wanted to pass them along! Some of you will remember some of these sights but those who were not able to attend will get a taste for what transpired at Isabella County Fairgrounds that day. Enjoy -- and thank you Zoe!

B2 Outlet Stores are offering a funding opportunity that gives 10% to the customer, PLUS 10% to the Isabella County Fair Building Fund until 9/15/23! It's back to school shopping time and they have all kinds of finds -- check it out, save some money, and help a great non-profit organization working towards a HUGE project. Print off the attached flier or download it to your phone so you can present it to the cashier. AND -- share this with all of your friends. As we understand, it can be used at any B2 store. THANKS again for supporting Isabella County Youth & Farm Fair!

WOW!! Can't believe it's been seven weeks since "A Day With Dr Pol" weekend! We have been silent because most of the crew that was involved in that tremendous event was also involved in the Isabella County Fair week so we had to shift gears quickly to be ready for the kiddos to take over the grounds where they showed off there crafts, achievements, animals, and talents! The weather was a bit difficult to deal with this year, but everyone just made adjustments, pitched in to help each other and we got the job done. It was a FANTASTIC week. A HUGE THANK YOU to the MANY volunteers and leaders who put so much time and effort into that event! We'd like to ask whomever is willing to post some pictures from the week -- and yes -- the Pol Veterinary crew was there as well as the Nat Geo Team in full force!

As a continuation of our fundraising efforts for the Isabella County Fair Building Fund we are sharing the attached information about our second "Dine to Donate" event with Mt. Pleasant, MI, Texas Roadhouse, this Tuesday, 8/8, from 3pm - 10pm. It's the easiest thing to do and we hope as many people as possible will partner with us to make this a huge success! Take your family, coworkers, and friends out for dinner -- REMEMBER to present the flier we share here with your server right when you sit down so they will make the appropriate notation. 10% of your food and gift card purchases (early holiday shopping??) will be donated to the Educational Center Fund. We also would love to see pictures of your group enjoying your meal -- please consider posting some pics. THANKS for your continued support -- AND...... we will have more information coming that we think you will all enjoy!!

We know you have all been waiting patiently. . . . It's been a couple of weeks since we welcomed Dr. Pol, his family, their many wonderful fans, and the community at large. We still can't believe the event has come and gone -- we had a great time planning the fun-filled day for all of you and we have received SO many positive comments and helpful feedback regarding your experiences. When we started planning how the day would look, and what we would be able to offer for entertainment for this type of fundraiser, we felt a do-able goal for the actual day itself would be around $20,000. You were all so generous, and we are very pleased to announce -- drum roll please -- that we surpassed that goal and our current count for this project is $23,500 !!! We have all of you to thank for this wonderful news! Stay tuned for additional events and information that we will be sharing. We are hoping this day will act as a springboard for the GoFundMe page so at some point we can reach our full goal to build the educational center at the fairgrounds. Only today and tomorrow left to take advantage of the United Way matching grant. We have learned that there have been just under $3,000 donated so far, so we have lots of room for your donation. Remember, it will be matched up to $5,000. Even if you only give $10 -- every dollar is doubled up to the $5,000 mark. We hope you will consider a gift to the Educational Center Building Fund. Follow the options shown. We appreciate your consideration!

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far. We should have an update for you in the next week or so on how well we did during the A Day with Dr. Pol event. United Way did a double match month for us and since some of that happened during the event we are going to include that in our total. So stay tuned for that 😁
Also the week of the Isabella County Fair July24th-29th we are looking for volunteers for concessions during the grand stand events. All the proceeds go to the building fund. If you are interested in volunteering please email [email protected]

The A Day with Dr. Pol Event is to help raise money for a multipurpose educational building for the community. This is a project that was initially proposed when the fairgrounds were moved from a local park (Island park) to the current location back in the 70's. This event with the help from Dr.Pol and his team will be amazing opportunity to help jumpstart this project that is project to cost $1.7 million to complete start to finish. Our community is very excited to provide this event for everyone and we hope that it is a huge success.
