A heartfelt thank you to everyone who submitted an application for the MLCA Legacy Cheer Scholarship.
Reading your stories, memories, and reflections on what MLCA has meant to you was truly heartwarming. Your submissions reminded us of the impact this organization has had on so many athletes and families over the past 26 years. The passion, dedication, and love for cheer shined through every single entry.
Choosing the recipients was incredibly difficult because every application was meaningful in its own way. After much thoughtful consideration, we are honored to award 6 Scholarships, helping to support these athletes as they continue their cheer journeys.

Entry Requirements

Ages 6–8
🎨 Submit a drawing showing what cheer means to you.

Ages 9–11
✏️ Submit a short written response (1 paragraph).
Optional: Include a drawing.

Ages 12–18
📖 Submit a short essay (minimum one page) explaining:
• Why you want to continue your cheer journey
• What MLCA has meant to you

Important Reminders

💙 Do not include your name, phone number, or any identifying information within your drawing or essay.

💙 All entries will be reviewed anonymously by the scholarship committee.

Mount Laurel Cheer is looking for coaches for our 26th season!! This is a great way to get involved with the community, inspire young athletes, and create some amazing memories!! All coaching positions are volunteer positions, you do not have to have an athlete apart of MLCA to coach. We look forward to welcoming some new faces and growing our cheer family 💙
