Good morning everyone,
The DCA has now provided the inspection schedule for each building. Please note that these dates are fixed and cannot be changed or exchanged for another date.
Inspectors will be on-site from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the assigned date for each building. Residents must provide access to their units during this time. Entry is required for your unit to pass the inspection.

I wanted to let you know that the DCA Inspection is completed for today. The inspector has completed buildings 100-400.
Thank you to all who opened their doors.
Please remember we do want to do pass so the association and homeowners do not receive any fines.

Good Afternoon, Everyone,
Just a few reminders regarding the front common area of the community:
Bicycles – Bicycles larger than 12 inches should not be left or ridden on the walkways.�
E-Bikes – Please review the attached information regarding the new State of New Jersey regulations for e-bikes.�
Ponds
Children should not be left unattended near the ponds.
Please respect the wildlife and do not touch or disturb any animals.
Fishing is not permitted.
Please do not dispose of trash in the ponds, as it can clog and damage the fountains.

Dear Lakes at Larchmont CA Community,

The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) of the State of New Jersey requires a mandatory inspection of the interior of your unit once every five (5) years. The purpose is to ensure the units have working smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors. The State will be performing the inspection on July 20, 2026 to August 13 between the hours of 9am and 1pm. They will be doing 28 units per day and will start with the 100 building.

The inspection takes about 10 minutes per unit. Please make whatever arrangements necessary for the inspector to access your unit during this scheduled time. If you cannot be there, please be sure to have someone available during this time. The inspector must gain access to EVERY unit in the Association.

Please ensure all existing Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide (CO2) detectors are operational. If you do not have smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, please install prior to inspection.

We understand this may be an inconvenience for some of our residents, however this is a requirement of the State of New Jersey and must be done every five years. Failure to comply may result in the Association being assessed a fine. If the Association is fined as a result of an owner not providing access or being not compliant, the fine will be passed to that owner. After the 3rd inspection if the community fails then we are moved to inspections every 2 years versus every 5 years.
