Hi All,
With the significant storm approaching, we are fully prepared. This storm is expected to last a long time, and the clean-up process will take quite a while to finish. I know you all understand, but it is important to communicate this to everyone. The plow trucks will be operating in the streets throughout the storm, working to keep the roads as clear as possible. The sidewalks will be addressed once the storm has passed. If you need to use the sidewalks prior to them being cleared, please use extreme caution. This will require a considerable amount of time. We ask for your patience with the snowplow team.
Starting on Saturday night we are asking all cars not to park on Forest Lake Drive so that the plow can easily move all the snow.
The plow trucks will maintain a distance of 4 feet from the back of vehicle bumpers. If you wish to shovel snow around your cars, please place the snow on the grass, not on the streets or sidewalks.
Please note: Marksman does not clear any snow around vehicles at all. DO NOT approach Marksman’s workers for assistance in cleaning or digging out your car. They have also been directed to report anyone who makes such requests.
Emergency Phone Calls –Asking when you will be shoveled or plow is not an emergency. The association does get charged every time a homeowner calls the emergency line. If you call for this reason you will be charged back this phone call on your account. If it is a true emergency then you will not be charged.

Report – If an area was missed, this can happened and is a mistake. The faster you report this to us the faster we can contact the landscapers directly. Please report through TownSquare so that the request will be seen by myself and the board.
All salt buckets can be found in the dumpster enclosures. You are welcome to use them in the vicinity of your unit to help prevent ice before the snowfall. Please be sure to secure the lid tightly after use. The temperatures after the storm will remain below freezing. Please keep ice melt handy all week and use it as needed.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO KEEP THE HEAT ON IN ALL UNITS. Every unit must be winterized if it is not in use, and all residents should maintain their heat to avoid pipes bursting in freezing temperatures.
Additionally, please be cautious and instruct your children to not play in or near the streets. Plow trucks can easily lose traction in the snow. We do not want anyone to be injured!
The board appreciates your patience and understanding during this storm.
