✨ Ramadan in the Classroom ✨

This week, students explored Ramadan through a special book reading, creative coloring activities, and open conversations about how families celebrate this meaningful month.

From decorating Ramadan symbols to learning about traditions, reflection, kindness, and community, it was a beautiful opportunity to build understanding and cultural awareness in a way that was age-appropriate and engaging.

Moments like these remind us how powerful education can be in creating respect, curiosity, and connection among students of all backgrounds. 💛

🌙🍪 Spreading Sweetness Across Mount Laurel 🍪🌙

To kick off the blessed month of Ramadan, we had the joy of delivering Ramadan cookies to all Mount Laurel schools, the Superintendent’s Office, our dedicated first responders, and the beloved Mount Laurel Township offices.

It meant so much to begin this month by creating awareness and sharing a small taste of Ramadan with our community. Beautifully crafted cookies from made with love and tradition.

Moments like this remind us how important awareness, involvement, and connection are in building inclusion, tolerance, and understanding.

We feel incredibly grateful and blessed to be part of such a supportive and welcoming community. Mount Laurel continues to show that when we come together, we grow together.

We’re grateful to share an MLMA display at the Mount Laurel Library this month—please come by & enjoy.

And we hope to see you at the Muslim Heritage Festival at Eden Gardens (Pennsauken, NJ) — Sat, Jan 24, 2026 | 1–8 PM | Free entry. A full day of culture, halal cuisine, performances, and family-friendly activities.

Holiday Giving Drive 🤝

MLMA partnered with Fellowship Church, our wider community, and Wegmans to help ensure families have what they need during this Thanksgiving season.

On Tuesday, November 25th, MLMA volunteers joined the church community to distribute meals and organize donations. Special thanks to Wegmans for generously contributing to the donations that made this drive possible.

Thanks to everyone who donated, packed, showed up, and served — the Holiday Giving Drive was a real success, supporting families who could use extra help at this time of year.

May these acts of care bring ease and blessing to our neighbors.

MLMA Winter Food Drive
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our canned food collection on November 14. Your donations were delivered to Fellowship Community Church, where their Food Pantry provides weekly frozen, fresh, and dry goods to local families who need extra support.
