Please vote YES to Local Question #1 on election day to pass a referendum to use open space funds to improve existing open space. Currently it's only able to be used to purchase new open space. If the referendum passes, it will open up money to be used for lacrosse field and turf enhancements as well as other sports and recreation facilities within Mt. Laurel.

Referendum Information:
• Tuesday Nov. 7th - there will be a public question
• Question is asking voters to allow the open space trust to be used for improvements and maintenance for existing open space. Currently the funds can only be used to acquire new open space.
• If the referendum passes, the funds will be used for improvements, maintenance, and purchases.

Items the funds would be used to maintain/improve, but is not limited to:
• Athletic Fields
• Athletic Complex's
• Walking/Bike Trails
• Playgrounds
• Tot Lots
• Community Gardens
• Dog Park

This referendum does NOT raise taxes. This is to use existing funds, and would not impact the ability of the Township to purchase new open space.

Please spread the word and make sure to VOTE YES on November 7 to help Mt. Laurel Township pass this referendum.

I am very excited to formally announce the strategic partnership with the brand new Philadelphia Indoor Box Lacrosse team that will begin competing with the National Lacrosse League in 2018-2019.

We are very excited to welcome Philly Lax to the Little Kicks Soccer / Little Stix Lacrosse / Virtua family. Our Little Stix players are going to see some very cool benefits from these this fantastic partnership. Such benefits would include player appearances at some of our classes as well as ticket giveaways.

We are also working on conducting a possible Little Stix Lacrosse night at a future home game where some of our players will have the opportunity to show off their skills at the halftime show at the Wells Fargo Center.

The actual name of the future team will be released and they are currently running a "Name The Team" contest. If you want to submit a name for the future team, you can go to http://www.phillylax2018.com/ and enter your choice. I know what I want the team name to be !!!!
