Lenape Wrestling

Lenape Wrestling Lenape Jr. This club is for all kids ages 4 – 14. Children are matched as evenly as possible by the following: skill, weight, age, and experience.

Wrestling is youth wrestling club for elementary and middle school students living in and around the Lenape Regional High School District in south western New Jersey. Age classifications are as follows: Tots (ages 6 and under), Bantams (ages 7 and 8), Midgets (ages 9 and 10), Juniors (ages 11 and 12) and Intermediates (ages 13 and 14). We make sure that our children only wrestle children with whom

they are evenly matched. We strive for our children to win 50% or better of the matches they wrestle. This way they have the opportunity to learn from their losses, enjoy their wins, and improve and grow athletically.

Apparently wrestlers don’t know how to sit still once the season ends. 😂

Now they’re trading singlets for track spikes, baseball cleats, and lacrosse pads — but the competitiveness, toughness, and work ethic never change.

No matter the sport, these athletes continue to represent our program the right way. Proud of our guys for staying active, competing hard, and proving that wrestlers are athletes in every season. 💪🔥

closes out his career with his second straight Most Outstanding Wrestler belt — a back-to-back run that speaks for itself. This award goes to the wrestler whose matches produced the most team points all season… and for the second year in a row, that was him. ✌🏼

Different season… same grind. 💪🏼

From the mat to the water 🎣, the course ⛳️, the diamond ⚾️, the track & field 🥏, and even in uniform 🇺🇸 - our wrestlers are putting in work wherever they go.

From strikes (rare 😅) to spotlight moments 🎤

Today was all about this team.

We kicked things off with a very questionable bowling performance 🎳 (turns out wrestling ≠ bowling)… and ended the day celebrating a season full of grit, growth, and serious accomplishments.

Tonight we recognized:

🎟️ State qualifiers
🔥 1st & 2nd Team All-County
💪 Most Outstanding Wrestler

Every class made their mark — freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors — and our seniors got the send-off they’ve earned 👏

Full tank. No brakes. ⛽️🔥

continues to power through his senior season, capturing the Region 7 title at 215 lbs this weekend.

The win adds to an already historic year that includes 💯 career victories, making him just the 9th wrestler in Lenape history to reach that milestone. Jackson helps to lead our program with such class, sportsmanship, and grit. We’re excited to see where this next stop takes him!
