Our PTO has one key goal: making West Elementary the best it can be for our students!

When we come together, incredible things can happen. From supporting classrooms to creating spaces where every child can feel safe, supported, and successful, this is what a strong PTO can do.

This new sensory room is a reflection of what’s possible when a PTO is truly based on teamwork and dedication: people showing up, pitching in, giving ideas, volunteering time, supporting events, and believing in the mission.

Together, it adds up to meaningful impact for our students. We are so excited for all of our students and staff to enjoy the new space ❤️🐾

At our Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Breakfast, we were honored to present our inaugural “Paw Print Award” to a volunteer who truly went above and beyond this year and left a lasting paw print on our Bulldog community. 🐾

This year’s recipient was Cindy Ham, and we are incredibly thankful for all of the time, energy, and heart she pours into West. Her support, dedication, and willingness to always jump in and help made a huge impact on our school community.

Thank you, Cindy, for everything you have contributed to make this year so special. West is better because of you! ❤️

Today we hosted our Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Breakfast to celebrate the amazing volunteers and donors who helped make this one of the best years yet at West 🤗

We are incredibly thankful for every hour volunteered, every donation made, and every person who poured into our school community this year. Because of your generosity and support, we’ve been able to give back so much to our students, staff, and school.

West truly is the best because of all of YOU. Thank you for making a difference! ❤️🐾

Shoutout to Children’s Lighthouse for donating some of the breakfast items this morning - we appreciate you!

May is basically a competitive sport at this point… between end-of-year events, field days, sporting events, and trying to remember if you signed that one paper 🫠

So… let’s all agree: no cooking on May 6th 🙌

Tickets are FREE but are required to help us gauge how many people will be attending. Please order 1 for each person attending.

As a reminder, this event is only open to current 5th grade students at West and LaGuardo, their families including siblings and staff at both schools.

Kindergarten understood the assignment for this month’s Stock the Lounge! ☑️
Our teachers have been feeling the love with all the amazing snacks and the timing couldn’t be better! These treats were extra appreciated during TCAP testing this week.
