Mt. Juliet Noon Rotary recently presented a check for $500 to the Not-for-Profit organization Give a Little Christmas.

Toys and monetary donations from our generous community supports Give a Little Christmas and will provide Christmas gifts to over 800 children in Wilson County this year.

The Mt. Juliet Noon Rotary Club presented a $500 check to the Not-for-Profit (NFP) organization Project Healing Waters – Murfreesboro Chapter on December 16.

Project Healing Waters is a National NFP organization whose mission is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities.

Rotarian Bob Jacobs (front row 2nd from left) ) presented the $500 check to Program Lead Bob Mullins (front row far right) at the Project Healing Waters’ Christmas party with 50 Veterans in attendance.

The donated funds will be used to provide fly fishing gear for our Veterans. A Big Thank You to all our Veterans whose sacrifices allow all of us to live in freedom!

The Mt. Juliet Noon Rotary Club awarded another bicycle to a well-deserving student as a part of its Wheels in Motion Program. Every quarter, the faculty and staff of each elementary school in Mt. Juliet select a student based on the principles of the Rotary Four-Way Test. The principles are:

Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Today we presented a new bicycle to Lydia Brockman, who is in the third grade at Stoner Creek Elementary School.
