Mental Health is a crisis that has to be taken more seriously. These statistics DON'T lie, and these numbers are very disturbing. If you have a child of any age, please take a few minutes and learn the warning signs related to suicidal ideation in our at-risk youth and young adults. 4 would be too many attempts, but 4,000 in one day is astounding. We have to wake up to this epidemic. Mental illness is so real and needs real attention. Don't ever think it can't happen to your family. Su***de happens to every kind of family. Be prepared.

When we talk about healthy relationships, we also need to talk about respect and independence. For teens, that means having the freedom to make choices about school, work, and money without pressure or control.

Taking away that freedom is a form of abuse. It can start when someone controls schedules, limits opportunities, or pressures decisions that affect a teen’s future. The impact can last long after the relationship ends.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, let’s stand with teens by helping them recognize these behaviors early and build relationships rooted in respect! 💜
