We traveled to Latimer Scout Reservation in Sparta, TN for our Fall campout. We hiked to a beautiful outlook, built bases in the woods, laughed together at our evening campfire, learned how to raise and lower flags, stargazed, retired a flag, celebrated together at an interfaith service, and made 2,487 s’mores.

Our first service project of the year was given back to Stoner Creek Elementary by replenishing the gaga pit much, washing windows, staining STEM garden benches, landscaping trees, pressure washing the breezeway wall, picking up trash, and retrieving those balls that love to hide the breezeway roof. Over 20 scouts and their awesome families helped out!

A huge thank you to West Wilson Utility District for hosting our annual Fish-In Day. Our Scouts learned about fishing equipment, fish habitat, water safety, and the basics of casting and catching fish—all while spending a beautiful day outdoors.

We appreciate everyone who volunteered their time to help our Scouts learn new skills and enjoy the experience. We can’t wait to get back on the water again!

We had a fantastic weekend at Family Scouting at Cub World! Our Scouts and families spent the weekend kayaking, exploring camp, swimming, and even spotting owls and snakes along the way. One of the biggest hits of the weekend was our hilarious T-Rex skit that had everyone laughing.
