Today we laid to rest our retired Chaplain James "Jimmy" Carr.
Jimmy was a member for 43 years, 28 of those serving as Chaplain.
He was a kind and gracious man who faithfully prayed for the safety of our members. He will be greatly missed around the station but will always be in our hearts.
Rest easy Brother, we'll take it from here.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our retired Chaplain, James “Jimmy” Carr, today April 22, 2026.

Jimmy served the fire service for 43 years, including 28 years as our Chaplain. He was a kind and gracious man who faithfully prayed for the safety of our members. His gentle spirit and dedication to this department will never be forgotten.

Funeral arrangements will be shared as they become available.

Gone to Glory, Chaplain Carr — Forever in Our Hearts 🙏
