This picture defines our show this year, taken by Kathleen Harrison across the river. This is the storm that turned our day into organized chaos. Our logo we have up on our banner is an idea of Jaryid Moldonado. We are fortunate to have the talents of local photographers both professional and enthusiasts. Caleb Miller takes important drone video and pictures. Amy Miller takes many action pictures throughout the day. Thank you to all these volunteers.

We don't know what we would do without the generous people that feed us!!!!! Kristen's Katering donates breakfast show day and the morning after. Marco's has been taking care of us at lunch since the Jaycee days, we appreciate and don't forget. Steve Shireman and our Marietta Legion makes sure we're energized for supper. I'm told one of the reasons I get volunteers at all are due to the monumental efforts from these backbones of our community. For several days note our page banner picture.

We're going to work backwards showing our appreciation and "Thank You's". First, David and Elmer for sharing our posts, we understand if it becomes too much but we have so much to share and be grateful for. What we do is all about Marietta. Next, is the Sunday cleanup crew. Community Bible Church volunteers directed by Joe Depoto, are exceptional in their efforts. A huge bonus was the addition of Alan Shepard, owner of Genesis Lawn Care & Snow Removal, with he and his company's equipment.

We're sorry for the late post, but just now catching our breath. The 2026 show proved to be a feat to accomplish. This was a good example when we advertise the start time: 9:15 or when conditions permit. All the shells were loaded. High winds interrupted our setup and got worse from there. Once the downpour was over we discussed how to salvage the original plan. The wind blew the plastic covering from a large portion of the finale. Much of the wiring wasn't completed meaning more hand lighting was necessary. Most of the fuses were stubborn, slow was an understatement. In hindsight we were grateful there were no injuries. We apologize for the many gaps in the display. As is said: the best laid plans............

Thank you Marietta Pioneer Fire Co for watering down the field. One less thing to worry about!! Let the show go on with safety being top priority.
